Sustainable Farm
We have established a contract farming network within a 25-35km radius of our processing facilities. This close proximity ensures that raw materials are promptly harvested and transported to our facility in the freshest conditions
Shrimp harvested from farming environments typically exhibit a deeper, more vibrant color. Depending on the specific species and their diet.
The enhanced color is often a result of optimized feed that includes carotenoids and other natural pigments, which are beneficial for shrimp health and appearance
Benefits of Shrimp Farming
Consistent Quality: The controlled environment ensures that shrimp are grown in optimal conditions, leading to consistent size, color, and quality.
Sustainability: Our contract farms employ sustainable practices such as closed-loop system and composting
Traceability: Advanced monitoring systems provide detailed records of the shrimp's growth, health, and handling, ensuring full traceability from farm to table
Temperature-Controlled Handling
Immediately after harvest, shrimp from our contract farms are placed in temperature-controlled containers to preserve their quality:
Immediate Chilling: The shrimp are rapidly chilled to near-freezing temperatures to halt enzymatic processes and bacterial growth. This step is crucial in maintaining the freshness and preventing spoilage.
Controlled Transport: During transport to processing facilities, the shrimp are kept at a consistent low temperature. This minimizes temperature fluctuations that could affect their quality.
Quick Processing: Upon arrival at the processing facilities, the shrimp are quickly processed. This involves sorting, cleaning, and freezing the shrimp, often using advanced techniques such as individual quick freezing (IQF) to preserve their texture and taste.
